The mining division of AMR has its core operations in mineral rich belt of INDIA. The mines have substantial resource base of superior quality with high limestone, coal and lignite content and bulk density. AMR is engaged in ‘excavation of minerals’, maintaining the quality and value addition by using latest technology. AMR holds a leading position in the Indian mining industry for its superior mining techniques, equipment, flexibility in operations and systems.

The main products are Limestone, Coal and Lignite.

Lime Stone

• Stable and recurring revenue stream
•  Involved in Limestone mining since inception
• The cement industry is one of the largest consumers of limestone as the later is the key element in the  production of cement
•  AMR undertakes mining of limestone from the mines owned by the cement companies

Coal & Lignite

• Involved in coal mining since 2007
• India has dominant shares in the world coal reserves
• AMR has presently undertaken mining contracts from public sector undertakings namely Singareni Collieries Company Limited (Coal) which is a Joint sector undertaking with Government of Andhra Pradesh and Government of India and Gujarat Industries Power Company Limited (Lignite)

AMR has annual mining capacity of over 65 million tonnes. Mining operations are mechanised, adopting the state-of-the-art technology and equipment, Flexibility in operations enables the division to maximise the utilisation of resources as well as to cater to the needs of diverse customer segments.

AMR’s roadmap includes exploring further mine acquisitions and leveraging upon both greenfield and brownfield opportunities. Furthermore, to capitalise on the wealth of experience and expertise, garnered in the mining sector, plans to venture into coal mining are on the anvil.
